Features
There are three different layouts to choose from: Basic (one column), Grid and With Sidebar.
Header image with no set dimensions
Extra text boxes in sidebar for additional information.
All post types supported.
Space for four custom links, page link disabled.

About
First theme of 2014! I’ve also now made more “new” themes, than I have “retired” themes. This is actually one that’s been in my drafts for sometime as it was originally created for a friend’s roleplay but it is not needed now. There are quite a few options to play around with but I’ve tried to make it as easy to use as possible.

Features
Header content slider. Four slides pre-coded with navigation links and update boxes.
Extra text boxes in sidebar for additional information.
Option for either 400px or 500px posts.
Add up to 36 custom links.

About
I know I’m slightly late but Happy New Year! So following the last two years, here’s a new film table/media page for 2014. I’m also trying Google as a new way to share codes. Just hover over the version you would like and an arrow will appear, choose to ‘View’ (or download if you prefer to mess with the codes first).
Please note there are three slightly different versions, so please make sure you download the right codes for the one you want. Version #1 is the ‘original’ version. It has three sections, one each for films, books and TV shows. Version #2 is an edited version so that instead of three sections for different types of media it can be used as a multi-purpose page. The three sections includes one for overall media, an about page and a space for tags. Version #3, is the simple, no frills version of just the media section.
You don’t need to worry about image sizes and positioning. I’ve coded it so that they will automatically resize; film posters and book covers will resize to 110px, screencaps will be 245px wide. The alternative images on either side are also coded so you do not need to wrong about that.
As always, please read through the help page first, if you need assistance with customizing the page. I have tried to add comments in the code in which will help, but there is alot of code, so work slowly. I have also noticed that the tumblr live preview when customizing pages, doesn’t seem to like the way I code. So things will probably look a little messed up in the preview - but just save it and it should look fine on the actual blog.

So as promised, first thing is the current scrapbook page I’m using. As I’ve mentioned before it’s based very much on the original version’s coding; just with a simpler look.
The sidebar and sorting function is exactly the same and it still uses the same icon font for the ratings (please read the original help page for more details on that).
For those who have time or want to, you can add even more categories and keep track of more things (maybe albums, musicals, concerts even blog layouts) and hopefully at the end of the year we can all see where we all wasted our time.

So here’s a newer, cleaner and hopefully easier to use version of my previous currently watching page. This version uses the plugin, Isotope, rather than just CSS and you can choose to use or not to images. It can also double up as a tags page if you want (empty links already added). I have also included a greyscale option, so only when you hover on images, the colours pop out.
I have also included a very customized example of this page from my own blog (it doubles up as my TV schedule) and will not be releasing this version because a) there’s so much extra coding it’ll be be hard to make customizable and b) it requires intermediate knowledge on HTML/CSS/Isotope.

- Download
- Last Update: 03 September 2013
- Help: Installing • Customizing • FAQ

About
So this is probably the most complicated thing I’ve coded for tumblr as there are four different layout options: Horizontal, Grid, 400 Posts (Single Column) or 500 Posts (Single Column) with two different header layouts: Header With Textbox or Header With Navigation just in this single theme.

Features
Four different layouts; horizontal, grid and one column (400px or 500px posts) in one theme.
Slide out header with two different options.
Ability to have a built-in-like navigation/tags page.
Can add up to an additional 32 custom links.
Full list of features and how they are to be used under the read more:
A full list of features and options are listed in the live preview.

Navigation:
Slide down header/topbar. You can change the text of “Slide Open Topbar” under Appearance Options.
There are two different header layouts: “Header With Textbox” or “Header With Navigation” so please make sure only one of these are checked or it may mess with the theme.
In the “Header With Textbox” option, there are two empty textbox spaces. Both the title and content can be added/changed under Appearance Options: “Textbox One Title”, “Textbox One”, “Textbox Two Title” and “Textbox Two”. The askbox you see in the live preview for “Horizontal” is not included. For instructions on how to add the askbox instead, have a look at the FAQ page.
In the “Header With Navigation” option, it’s like a built in navigation/tags page.
Can add up to an additional 32 custom links. Six links in the main navigation bar, another three in the description (Grid and Single Column only), and another twenty-four if you use the Header With Navigation option.
All Layouts:
As there are four layout options: Horizontal, Grid, 400 Posts (Single Column) or 500 Posts (Single Column) please make sure only one of these are checked or it may mess with the theme.
All post types are supported.
All post info is visible at all times.
A lazy load option (images) is available, however, it does not work with the grid layout.
The permalink page for all options will look the same.
Theme Documentation
Horizontal:
There is maximum height set for posts, so anything exceeding that will become scrollable.
There is no description space available in this option.
Grid:
There is an additional place for the description with option for Links 7 to 9.
Number of links in navigation bar depend on the length of links.
400/500 Posts, 1 Column:
There is an additional place for the description with option for Links 7 to 9.
Number of links in navigation bar depend on the length of links.

So this is the theme I have at my personal blog right now. Again this another theme that is based on the idea of text-heavy blogs. The width of the entries is dependant on your browser resolution meaning text posts will stretch all the way across the screen and when there are image posts, text will float around it.

Features
Sidebar background. No set width as it’s coded to 25% of your screen resolution. The most ideal width will probably be around 400px. As it’s a background, it will not work with the random image script.

About
There is nothing that annoys me more than when I follow a link and it ends up on a hiatus theme where I can’t see the posts (unless you are purposely hiding your posts?). So I have coded a theme that allows people to see and access posts when directed through the tags or a permalink. This is what the posts will look like on the permalink posts.
I have set up a side blog as an example so you can see for yourself how it works.
Access posts through a given link. If you go to the archive and click on any post you will be shown the original post. Normal hiatus themes will just redirect you back to the main page (with the hiatus theme/askbox).
Search through the tags and find posts. The other way to gain access to posts is through the tags. You could go to the archive and choose a tag (when you hover over the post) or a quick example is the Lightning Farron tag.

Features
"Main Page" with description and askbox.
Additional space for four links.
The posts are automatically set to infinite scroll, there is no option to undo this.
Make sure your ask is turned and that you add your own username - under the Appearance options.
The entries are styled off one of my earlier themes (in case you want the original).

About
I finally found the time to revamp the blog! Have a look if you haven’t already! As it’s finally summer it means I should have more free time and I’ve already planned three other themes ready to post starting with my old personal.
Please save and refresh the customize page before making any customizations/change. This will hopefully lower the number of problems. Feel free to customize however much you want, the more the better, but leave credits intact. It would also be great if you could ‘like’ this post if using the theme.

Features
Option for either 400px or 500px width posts.
Two sidebars sections.
Add up to eight custom links.
Page links dis-enabled.
All post info visible at all times.
A full list of features and options are listed in the live preview.
